What Can We Learn From Michael Jackson’s Death?

With all the media coverage about Michael Jackson's death, we are reminded of the various challenges life throws at us. The one that has me thinking a lot relates to the care of his children. Being a father myself, I am convinced that we should all have a plan for our children in case the Lord calls us home before they are fully grown and taking care of themselves.

Now then, how do we prepare for such an event? The first thing to do is to identify a couple of close relatives or friends and talk to them about the responsibility you would like them to take if you are no longer capable of taking care of your children. I say capable because death is not the only issue. Physical incapacity needs to be added in the discussion.

GOD forbid, but for the occurs of one of this catastrophic events, if we have a well laid out plan, our children will continue their lives as we would like them to. There is enough stress on them already so we need to eliminate the drama that is created when custody battles take place.

Once we have eliminated the potential custody issues, through the help of family or friends, we need to go to the next step of securing their financial welfare. This is not an easy task but we must keep working on it. Not everyone has the same background or experience. Therefore, I am not suggesting financial stability is a must. What I am proposing is that we attempt to look at all possible venue to realize this step. Beside the usual learn to live in your means, don't go into debt, save, etc. I would like to add invest in yourself and learn a new trade you can handle on a par time basis. The learning process should be very simple and needs to show an implementation plan that does not require large capital.

I have been working on this for quite some time and have come to realize an online business that can generate passive income is the way to go. For one, since the business is online, it is working for me 24/7. Second, since I do not need to baby it all the time, I can continue with my day job until I have built the business to replace my income by at least double. Why double? Because I want to use half to maintain my current lifestyle and use the other half to build my nest egg. This becomes your self managed and self generated retirement / safety account.

So by promoting PIPS, I am promoting both of my businesses. My goal, as I stated earlier, is to double my current income through a passive online money making machine. So far this is working out really well.

I am sure there are others steps that I have not considered yet so I hope those who read this article will enlighten us.
